How well do you know Alma Mater?

We're not only talking about the campus or the buildings, but aspects of the university's history and lore that tell stories of triumphs and accomplishments from many alumni over hundreds of years.

Rhode Island club founding member George Goodwin '71GSAS will take us through the corridors of CU history and shares statements about the school or its alums during an informative and fun trivia night taking place virtually on Zoom March 2 at 7:30 p.m.

Your job is to decide whether those statements are "true" or "false," which can be submitted via the Zoom chat feature.

George will then reveal the true statement, spur some discussion and share a little wisdom about our dear Alma Mater.

The participant with the most correct answers out of 25 questions gets the title "Rhode Island Columbia Alumni Trivia Master," and will receive a special prize.

A coin toss breaks any ties. We'll keep score, but you can too!

George is a cultural historian and also holds a Ph.D. in art history from Stanford in addition to his Columbia master's degree.

Fun fact: George may be the only resident on Providence's East Side who lived on the top floor of John Jay Hall. And how many floors does it have?

Click on the link to RSVP so we can keep a headcount and we'll email you the Zoom link to register for Trivia Quiz Hour!

We hope you will join us for this enlightening adventure learning about Alma Mater
