CAARI is joined by the Rhode Island Historical Society during, "Benefit Street: A Mile of History," a leisurely and fascinating fall stroll along this quaint and historic street, including homes, churches, and academic institutions.
Benefit Street, the majestic thoroughfare in the heart of downtown Providence, is renowned for its distinct 18th and 19th-century architecture. Originally created "for the benefit of all," the mile-long street is a vibrant downtown neighborhood continually improved to preserve its colonial glory.
